Demand for housing has never been stronger with housing developments going on throughout the region. However, many of the new homes being built aren’t large enough to accommodate the average sized family in terms of numbers. To get around the problem, the lucky owners of this property commissioned the construction of a small atrium orangery so that they have an additional room in which they can stretch out. However, stretching out isn’t the only thing they’ll be doing as a dining area has also been incorporated into the space.
When added ventilation is needed in summer there’s always the top opening windows available or the French doors that directly connect the extension to the patio – the orangery could play host to all manner of special occasions. If the weather ever scuppers any plans to dine al fresco, the windows and doors could always be kept closed and orangery living can be enjoyed in the vibrant ambience that it continuously offers. We love how they have also brought a little bit of nature indoors with the installation of the potted plant and a fabulous bunch of flowers that will keep the orangery smelling sweet, if not quite as sweet as the design looks.
