Don’t be deterred from purchasing a new conservatory if you fear that your home doesn’t have the capacity to accommodate it. We can always craft a compact conservatory design that slots in effortlessly and yet still offers an abundance of living space that you can use however you like. This project is a perfect example of that as there’s plenty of headspace and a high volume of flooring. Brick pillars have been included in the design, very like the ornate pillars that you will see in many orangeries. They help to support the expansive roof, a roof that enables you to admire the skies above like nothing else.
Being surrounded by so much glass gives you a fantastic perspective of the garden and you can better hear the sounds of the garden by opening the bottom windows. An electric roof vent is included so that any hot air that builds up inside can immediately be released through the roof to maintain steady ventilation. In the absence of natural light, the downlighters in the internal perimeter pelmet can be switched on which will be imperative if the occupants intend on using the conservatory as much at night as they will in the daytime. The French doors are the main exit point into the garden, but who’d ever want to leave this?
