You will very rightly treasure your home, and when you put it in the hands of others, such as when inviting a home improvement company to fit it with new windows and doors, your biggest wish will be that they do a good job of it.
How are you meant to know that they will?
Well, having a read of genuine customer testimonials will give you a good indicator of their credentials, as will viewing some of their previous work.
If they’re a member of an approved industry body, you’re definitely dealing with a company you can trust.
Pennine has lots of happy customers, has been behind hundreds of quality installations in the North East, and is a member of the GGF (Glass and Glazing Federation).
Being a GGF member is really significant for our customers, because it is a Government-endorsed trade association, and we’ve only been able to earn and retain GGF membership by demonstrating excellence in everything we do.
We are regularly vetted by the GGF’s team of assessors, and they have the power to withdraw our membership status if they feel that our standards have dropped. Thankfully, that has never happened as we have never allowed it to.
Using a GGF company, like Pennine, will also ensure that you have someone to turn to for arbitration if you feel that an installation falls short of your expectations.
There is a strict code of practice that all GGF members must follow too. We abide by this by the letter, and any work that you have done will be compliant with all the current rules and regulations, which may not necessarily be the case if you use an unaccredited installer.
One added bonus with Pennine is that we are also a FENSA member, a GGF Group Company, so we are permitted to issue FENSA certificates, a document that you will often need to sell your home.
